1. WHO WE ARE

2. WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect: account details (name, email, phone, address, password hash); KYC data (ID type, ID number, document image, date of birth, address); shipment & billing data (sender/receiver details, item descriptions, addresses, payments); communication data (tickets, messages, reviews, dispute notes); device/network data (IP, browser, OS, timestamps, session cookies); location data (when you update or share shipment location).
3. LAWFUL BASES (GDPR / similar)
• Contract: to provide the platform you booked.
• Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, network security, debt recovery, service improvement, marketing of similar services.
• Legal obligation: tax, customs, KYC/AML, court orders.
• Consent: optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies.
4. HOW WE USE DATA
To operate the platform; process payments; verify identity; communicate with you; enforce these Terms; prevent fraud; comply with the law; defend legal claims; improve services; show you relevant marketing (where permitted).
5. WHO WE SHARE WITH
Third-party processors strictly under contract: payment processors (Stripe and any other configured gateway); email/SMS providers (Google SMTP, configured carriers); cloud hosts; identity-verification services; legal advisors; insurers; collection agencies; law enforcement when lawfully required. We do NOT sell your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined under the CCPA.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Data may be processed outside your country. Where required by law, we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
7. RETENTION
We retain data for as long as your account is active and afterwards as required for tax (7 years), fraud prevention (5 years), debt enforcement (statutory limitation period plus 2 years), or other legal/operational obligations. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / CPRA / similar) you may: access your data, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, port your data, withdraw consent, opt out of selling/sharing (we do not sell), file a complaint with a regulator. To exercise: email foxlinelogistics1996@gmail.com from the account email. We respond within 30 days. We may verify identity before acting. Some rights are limited where we have an overriding legal or operational obligation (e.g. customs records, dispute logs, debt enforcement).
9. SECURITY
Industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, password hashing (bcrypt), least-privilege access, IP whitelisting on admin tooling, application-layer logging. No system is 100% secure; you use the platform at your own risk.
10. COOKIES
We use first-party cookies for session, CSRF protection, theme preference. Closing your browser or clearing cookies will sign you out. We do not use third-party tracking cookies by default; if you enable a live-chat or analytics widget through admin, that third party sets its own cookies subject to its own policy.
11. CHILDREN
The platform is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
12. CHANGES
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
